Mergers & acquisitions

• Sigmastocks (Gothenburg, digital investment tool, founded 2014) is being acquired by publicly traded Swedish finance and broker app Avanza, for SEK21.1M (Swedish, machine translation). Sigmastocks was founded by Mai Thai, Carl Lindberg, and Nanna Stranne, and raised close to SEK100M in equity funding. In 2021, the company made a pivot. 📊 For 2023, it reported basically zero net revenue, and a loss of -SEK14.3M.
