  • ⬜️ Freja (Stockholm, electronic ID provider, founded 2002): SEK32M (€2.9M, $3.3M) before issue costs through a directed share issue to new and existing shareholders. The company cites an ARR of SEK30.9M, up 36% YoY (Swedish, machine translation).
  • SICS (Stockholm, developer of an AGI foundation model for robots, founded 2022): SEK16M (€1.5M, $1.7M) convertible note from angel investors, co-founder Karim Nouira confirms to me, after I asked him about a comment regarding an angel investment made in a Sifted piece published today (English). SICS recently was awarded €2.4M in grant funding from EIC Accelerator, and an additional €5M in equity funding, though the latter can be accessed first once SICS raises a VC equity round of at least €5M.
