- CheckWatt (Stockholm; provider of smart, sustainable energy services, founded 2010) is being acquired by Denmark-based energy solutions provider Emaldo Group. The amount was neither disclosed nor reported (English). CheckWatt had raised around SEK20M in total outside equity funding, according to data registered with Bolagsverket (sourced via Eivora). The main outside shareholder is the IoT company CNET. 📊 As covered a few days ago, during 2024 CheckWatt grew net revenue by 146% to SEK277M. Profit after tax was SEK3.5M.
- Bolago, formerly StartupTools (Stockholm, SaaS platform for running a business, founded 2021) has been acquired by Finland-headquartered company Allshares, provider of compensation and benefits solutions. The amount was neither disclosed nor reported (English). Breakit first reported on March 20 that an acquisition may be in the making. Bolago was founded by Hannes Rosén, Daniel Lundqvist, Niklas Rudemo, and Erik Byrenius. The startup raised its only outside funding, SEK2.3M from angel investors, last year. 📊 For 2023, Bolago reported net revenue of SEK3.2M, and a loss of -SEK0.5M.

- GOALS (Stockholm, upcoming online multiplayer football game, founded 2021): $9M in a Series A extension, from angel investors including Sebastian Knutsson, Daniel Antell, Mikael Falgard, and John Wattin. Co-founder and CEO Andreas Thorstensson writes that the startup's masterplan is "to build the best sports game engine in the world". He adds "Once that’s in place, expanding into basketball, hockey, and beyond is just the beginning" (English).
