Polar launches version 1.0 of its monetization platform for developers

Stockholm-based startup Polar has launched version 1.0 of its monetization platform for developers, accompanied with a post on Product Hunt which made it to "Product of the day".

Polar is targeting "all developers who seek to ship independent software - builders, indie hackers and open source maintainers alike". The company was founded in 2022 by Birk Jernström, who previous co-founded Tictail, and then became Director of Operations and later Director of Product at Shopify, following Shopify's acquisition of the Swedish peer in 2018.

Polar so far has raised $1.8 million in a pre-seed funding.
