  • Sana (Stockholm, AI-powered knowledge tools for the enterprise, founded 2016): $55M led by existing investor NEA, with participation from other existing investors including Menlo Ventures. The valuation is cited to be $500M – unclear if pre- or post-money. The company will use the capital to "fuel its global go-to-market expansion and accelerate both its AI and experience design R&D". Total funding raised is now at around $130M. Sana also announced new AI agentic features (English). Sana raised its most recent previous round, a $28M Series B extension also led by NEA, in spring 2023. Back then the post-money valuation was around SEK2.2B ($210M based on today's currency rate) according to data registered with Bolagsverket. So this new round represents a doubling of the valuation.
  • Siccum (Pajala, freeze-dewatering technology for extracting more value from waste, founded 2021): SEK19.2M (€1.7M, $1.8M) grant from the Swedish Energy Agency (Swedish, machine translation). The startup has previously raised SEK5M in equity funding. ℹ️ Company details added on September 21, 2023 to the early-stage startup tracker page.
