- Gedea Biotech (Lund, developer of antibiotic free treatment for vaginal infections, founded 2015): SEK34.8M (€3M, $3.2M) from undisclosed new investors, and existing investors including family offices and high net-worth individuals with track records in the life sciences. The company writes it has now a runway of 24 months (English). Gedea Biotech raised its most recent previous equity round of SEK16.5M in fall 2023. In early 2024, the company secured a €2.5M grant from EIC Accelerator.
- Norrsken VC has reportedly invested an undisclosed amount in UK-based stealth startup Quadrivia, which is said to be building an “AI agent for healthcare”, and apparently was founded by Ali Parsa, known for having build once-unicorn and later collapsed healthtech Babylon Health (English).
