Mergers & acquisitions

  • Ridesum, Stockholm-based digital training app and collaboration platform for riders which went bankrupt in September, has been acquired by the Swedish company Fascia Horse, which offers a treatment methodology to improve horse well-being. The amount was not disclosed. The new owner will keep operating the app (English, Swedish / Breakit paywall).
  • The Norwegian agtech company Agdir intends to buy the assets of publicly traded Lund-based developer of a satellite system for precision farming Vultus for NOK15M (€1.3M, $1.4M) (Swedish, machine translation). Vultus was founded in 2016 by Robert Schmitt and William Håkansson, and went public in 2022. 📊 For 2023, Vultus reported net revenue of SEK0.8M, and an EBITDA result of -SEK9.2M.
