  • Greenely (Stockholm, next-generation household energy platform, founded 2014): €8M ($8.7M) in a Series A funding round led by Belgian investment company Korys, with existing investor Luminar Ventures and other current shareholders also participating. This brings total funding raised to around €15M. The fresh capital will be used for the expansion to Finland and Norway, with other European markets that have a high smart meter penetration such as UK and France being potential next targets. “The ambition is to create the largest residential virtual power plant and consumer offer across Europe", says Greenely co-founder and CEO Tanmoy Bari. According to preliminary numbers, loss for 2023 was around SEK20M. For 2024, the company aims for a positive result (English, Swedish / Di Digital paywall).
