• Vitec Software Group, Umeå-based, provider and acquirer of standardized software and SaaS solutions for various niches, is acquiring a majority of the shares in Taxiteknik, a Stockholm-based startup offering a traffic management system for the taxi and transport sector, in an all-cash deal. The amount was not disclosed (English). Taxiteknik was founded in 2019 by Riccardo Pesce and Patrik Strömstedt, and is bootstrapped. 📊 The company generated a pre-tax profit of SEK8M in 2023, on net revenue of SEK14.6M.
