- Update on the funding raised by Meela, which I covered on June 27 in the "unannounced funding" section: It has now been announced, as a seed round of €2.6M ($2.8M) led by Peak, with participation from existing investors Unconventional Ventures, The Inner Foundation, and Calm/Storm Ventures. The pre-money valuation was around SEK120M (€10.6M, $11.3M). The money will primarily be used for the UK expansion, where Meela launched a few weeks ago. The startup's therapist-patient matchmaking platform is now also available for all individuals, after initially only targeting women (English, Swedish / Di Digital paywall).
