- Candela (Stockholm, manufacturer of long-range electric boats, founded 2014): SEK215M (€19M, $21M) from existing investors Joel Eklund and Svante Nilo Bengtsson (the duo invested together through the vehicle Kan Dela AB), as well as potentially other undisclosed investors, at a pre-money valuation of around SEK1.6B, up 45% from a year ago, after Candela raised SEK210M (Swedish / Breakit paywall).
- Ochno (Västerås; developer of a smart flexible port technology designed for charging, presentations, and seamless communication, founded 2016): undisclosed amount (SEK16.2M according to data registered with Bolagsverket) in a strategic investment from German BACHMANN Group (English). The pre-money valuation was SEK83.8M, up 68% from 2022. In the past, Ochno has registered around SEK11.5M in equity funding with Bolagsverket. For 2022, the company reported net revenue of SEK17.8M (up 3x YoY), and a loss of -SEK1.1M.
- Serverpod announced the pre-seed funding round led by PreSeed Ventures, which I covered in the "unannounced funding" section in late November 2023. The now announced amount is €1.7M and thus slightly higher than what was registered with Bolagsverket in November (English).
- VNTRS has invested an undisclosed amount in Finnish startup Coiniverse, which offers an app for coin collectors (English).
