Dahlgren Capital acquires stake in Swedish startup Zebrain and invests additional funding

This news was one of many covered on May 30, 2024 in the Swedish Tech News PRO newsletter.

Dahlgren Capital, a Swedish private investment office, has acquired a stake in Zebrain, a Stockholm-based personalized coaching platform for employees and organizations founded in 2020.

While no exact numbers were disclosed, the investment firm is becoming the single largest shareholder in Zebrain, alongside the founders Anna Bloth Karling, Jessica Huge and Gustaf Karling. In addition to buying shares from existing investors, Dahlgren Capital also invests 5 million SEK (€440K, $470K) in equity funding in the Swedish startup.

Zebrain co-founder and CEO Anna Bloth Karling confirmed to me that all previous shareholders still keep shares in the startup.

Zebrain raised its previous round of 27 million SEK in early 2022 from byWiT. Previous to that, Zebrain was backed by angel investors.
