Centi raises SEK 11 million in seed funding for its platform that helps PE-owned businesses run employee equity programs

Centi, a Stockholm-based startup that offers a platform for Private Equity-owned businesses to run employee equity programs, raised SEK 11 million (around €1 million) in a seed funding round, according to a press release.

The fresh capital was provided by Bust VC as well as angel investors and entrepreneurs including Svante Andreen, Gunnar Selving, Klas Tikkanen, Henrik Johansson, Thor Olof Philogène, Jonatan Raber, Ruben Flam, Ron Stolero, and Oskar Arndt.

The funding will be used for the continued product development, and the international expansion. Centi had previously raised around SEK 4 million in angel funding.

Centi was founded in 2022 by George Oussi and Jacob Gustafsson, and touts having won several Nordic funds as customers "within a short time", such as Nordic Capital, Fidelio, Axcel and Trill Impact.
